SANDRO PASCUCCI

President

Sandro Pascucci graduated in Philosophy in Bologna with a thesis on the Aesthetics of Music and followed the three-year Electronic Music course at the "Conservatorio G. Rossini ” of Pesaro.

He worked for about three decades at the historic municipal theaters in Emilia Romagna and Marche inaugurating the "good practice" of the "Creative Residences", an innovative method of theatrical direction with the provision of stages to prose, music and dance companies for rehearsals and set-ups of the shows previewed to the local public.

He also dealt with the restoration and reopening of numerous public and private theaters and he directed Petrella di Longiano (FC), the Municipality of Cesenatico (FC) and Cagli (PU), Il Bramante di Urbania (PU) and Gentile di Fabriano (AN).
He has carried out artistic consultancy for the C.R.T. in Milan, Teatro Fondamenta Nuove in Venice, the Jovinelli Amber in Rome.
From 2002 to 2007 he directed the Network of Historic Theaters (13) in the province of Pesaro Urbino and in 2008 he chaired and led the International Festival of Santarcangelo di Romagna dedicated to the contemporary scene.
From 2008 to 2011 he oversaw the reopening and programming of the New Theater of Salsomaggiore Terme (PR).

In May 2013 he co-founded Coop. Stationery store 18 in Bologna dedicated to the encounter between care and culture.
In January 2014 he founded the Shakespeare in Italy cultural association with the actors Mary Chater and Julian Curry.

Since March 2015 he is Director of the Cagli Municipal Theater Institution.
