ELISA MOSSA

Vice president

Born in Urbino in 1989. Lives and works in Urbania (PU), Italy.

In 2009 she attended the two-year course of experimental animation cinema at ISA (Urbino, Italy).

 

Among her latest work experiences (2016-2018) the most relevant is the collaboration with the artistic director Simone Massi and the director Stefano Savona for the realization of Samouni Road, a documentary that tells the story of a Palestinian family. In this film she drew the sequences in animated cinema. Samouni road won the Oeil d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2018.

 

In 2019 she made the animation for OZMA MIRROR by Viola Tonucci for Tonelli Design.

In 2018 she was invited to partecipate at "BoCs Art Cosenza" an artistic residency curated by Giacinto Di Pietrantonio and Giovanni Viceconte in Cosenza (Calabria, CS, Italy).

In 2018 she was invited to participate at "La Religione dei Ricordi" project, an artistic residency supported by Wolfgang Tillmans and his foundation “Between Brigdes” in the archaeological areas of Villaggio Bizantino Canalotto and Necropoli di Realmese (Calascibetta, EN, Italy) organized by the artistic duo and Berlin based publishing house “Mare Nero”.

In 2018 she exhibited at the Italian Design Biennial in the "Cristallino Cantieri" gallery in Cesena.

 

In 2017 she made the opening film for "Corto e Fieno" Rural Film Festival organized by Asilo Bianco cultural association, with

Alessandra Romagnoli and Rojna Bagheri.

During the festival she presented Primigenia, an exhibition of drawings and ceramic sculptures in which she analyzed the process of transforming wood into charcoal at Villa Nigra (Miasino, NO, Italy).

In 2017 she was in Brazil to collaborate in a drawing and sound project with the composer/guitarist Wanderson Lopez presented at the "Sesc Gloria" theater in Vitoria-ES.

During her stay in Brazil she presented in the contemporary art gallery "Casa-Porto" in Vitoria-ES Attraversiamo, a project realized in collaboration with the Brazilian artist Ariny Bianchi in which they analyzed the concept of migration through performances and drawings.

In 2017 she was invited to create a live drawing projection performance on the rationalist facade of the Tourism Palace in Riccione in

collaboration with the Antica Proietteria for the "54th Riccione Theater Award" for the Tondelli Award.
