Barbara Orciari was born in Fano in 1972.
In 1994 she graduated in animation cinema at the "Scuola del Libro" of Urbino where she then attended the two-year period of improvement of animated drawing (grade 100/100).
Afterwards, she joined an animated drawing internship at Carlisle College in England.
She created the animations Ospiti (Carlisle College, England, 1996) and Gatto (Book School, Urbino, 1996).
With the short film Gioco (Production Bruno Bozzetto, Milan, 1997) she won a Special Mention at the Cartoombria Festival (1997) and the Fedic Award at the Fano International Film Fest (1997).
She has participated in numerous group shows such as Fantasia, Bari (2000); Figur Future, Montreil, France (2000); The hidden stars, Turin (2001); Illustrissimi, Castello degli Agolanti, Riccione (2004); Animami Urbino (2014); Female footprints, Fano (2019).
At the Scarpetta d'Oro competition in Bordano, Vigonovo (VE) she won the Honorable Mention and best artistic illustration.
She creates theatrical sets and holds creative workshops for children.
She collaborates with Raffaello Editore, Edicolors, Ala libri.
Actively participate in the Children's Carnival of Fano.
