Andrea Bonetti, born in Pesaro in 1994, attended the F. Mengaroni Institute, graduating in 2014 in Graphic Design.
Afterwards, he enrolled at “Perfezionamento di Disegno Animato” (Advanced course of Animated Drawing and Comics) in Urbino.
In 2017, under the artistic direction of Simone Massi, he worked as a draftsman for the film La strada dei Samouni by Stefano Savona, selected at the Quinzaine des réalizateurs in Cannes and winner of the Oeil d’Or Jury Prize for best documentary film. The film garnered many awards and honors, including the nomination for best documentary at David di Donatello in 2019.
Bonetti participated in the Festival of Illustration and Animation, including the 55th edition of Pesaro Film Festival with his third animated short The darker Light (2019), also winner of the First Prize in the best short category from 5 to 24 minutes to Cinanima (Portugal).
